- ➤ Access Point Movement Space opened today at 575 E. Maple Ave. in the Arts District, offering hourly rentals starting at $10 for rehearsals and classes. - ➤ Roger Clark, the voice actor for Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption, will appear at Northwest Arkansas Comic Con this month at Rogers Convention Center. - ➤ State officials announced that parents in the school choice program may roll over unused funds up to $20,000 (or three times the annual amount) to help cover rising costs for older students. - ➤ American Red Cross is hosting January blood donation events in Springdale as a busy holiday season has strained the local supply — with a special call for donors with O, A negative and B negative blood. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Freshman Allison Cucci won the all-around title with a 39.350 score at Saturday's meet in Minneapolis as the Razorbacks lost 196.700 to 196.775. Arkansas will host Auburn today at Bud Walton Arena at 4:45 p.m. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Arkansas lost 95-73 to Auburn Saturday at Neville Arena. Auburn guard Keyshawn Hall scored 30 points while Arkansas struggled defensively & ended its three-game win streak & will host South Carolina Wednesday at 8 p.m. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Former Memphis quarterback Antwann ‘AJ’ Hill Jr. is joining the Razorbacks football program by following coach Ryan Silverfield — a move made out of respect for the coaching staff. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
