- ➤ This weekend’s winter storm pushed hundreds into warming centers; Saved By Grace Church in Springdale opened Sunday night to serve 65 people and now needs supplies, while CREW shelters will pause on Wednesday and Thursday to reset before reopening Friday ahead of a cold front. 4029 News
- ➤ The Springdale Senior Center closed early Sunday when a sprinkler malfunction flooded the facility with nearly ankle-deep water at 2:30 a.m.; firefighters used squeegees to clear the water and repairs are underway so the center should reopen in a few days (Captain Justin Pinkley provided details). 4029 News

- ➤ Capital Factory launched Station NWA in Bentonville to support innovation in supply chain, logistics and manufacturing thanks to a $1.5 million Walton Family Foundation grant. The nonprofit hub is hiring an executive director to develop startup mentoring, educational programs and investor engagement. NWA Business Journal

- ➤ Apple Seeds Teaching Farm will add new locations in Northwest and central Arkansas to meet growing demand for hands-on food education. - ➤ The Arkansas Public Service Commission approved a 23% rate hike that will increase a typical SWEPCO bill from $76 to $94 starting in February. - ➤ Hospitals in Rogers report a spike in emergency room visits after icy weather led to slips and falls during brief trips outdoors—officials say about 20 patients are treated daily and warn older adults and infants face extra risks from both outdoor falls and indoor hazards. 4029 News
