  • AQ Chicken House held a building blessing on Tuesday at its new Emma Ave location, inviting community members to write names and favorite Bible verses on its blank walls. The restaurant will open in May to revive a cherished local legacy.  5 News

  • A woman hiker was rescued by helicopter Tuesday from a steep bluff near the Eye of the Needle on the Buffalo River — Fayetteville and Springdale fire departments and other regional teams used a rope hoist to lower her for urgent care.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

  • A report from Cushman and Wakefield and Sage Partners released on Feb. 11 shows Northwest Arkansas commercial real estate stays strong with rising rents amid new construction. A 193,772 sqft office building in Rogers, known as The Visionaries, is 37% leased and set for summer 2026 (reflecting local teamwork).  NWA Business Journal

SPORTS NEWS

  • Gabe Gaeckle will get his second career Opening Day start at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas when Arkansas faces Oklahoma State.   • On Tuesday, Arkansas beat LSU 91-62 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center as head coach John Calipari celebrated his 67th birthday with his team, and the Razorbacks will face Auburn on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena.  Fayetteville Flyer
  • Local high school basketball teams competed Tuesday and Wednesday with close finishes and standout performances — Mills edged Bauxite by two and Osceola led with 29 points while Rivercrest, Southside Batesville and Little Rock Hall celebrated key wins during a busy round of district matchups.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • Pea Ridge bowler Zaylee Warden won her second state championship and helped her team finish second behind Brookland in Lowell (where she began bowling as a freshman). Her win marks an important milestone in her high school career.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
