  • Oklahoma farm groups have asked a Denver court to delay a judge's order that limits poultry litter use as fertilizer in the Illinois River watershed — growers in Northwest Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma will watch a Feb. 27 hearing in Tulsa as settlement agreements move forward.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

SPORTS NEWS

  • Prep basketball tournaments on Tuesday and Wednesday delivered close wins at Lincoln & Shiloh Christian as West Fork edged Greenland 49-48, Providence Academy and Lincoln secured overtime victories, and Berryville, Huntsville & Ozark Mountain advanced to Friday semis in the 3A-1, 4A-1 & 2A-1 Conference Tournaments.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • Springdale Har-Ber won 96 points at Rogers Heritage Tuesday night as Jabarih Washington scored a season-high 43 — driving the team to a solid win.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • On Wednesday, freshman Darius Acuff set a new Razorback scoring record with 49 points in a 117-115 double-overtime loss to Alabama. He surpassed Scotty Thurman’s record, marking the second-highest scoring game in school history.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
