CULTURE NEWS

  • Bentonville director Kate Siegenthaler’s supernatural thriller Inthralled, filmed across Northwest Arkansas, will play Saturday, Mar. 7 at the Eureka Springs Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10.  5 News
  • The Medium in downtown Springdale will host its first Visual Art Night on Friday, Mar. 6 from 6-8 p.m.- featuring new work from four local artists, open studios, a meet and greet, and complimentary refreshments.  Fayetteville Flyer

SPORTS NEWS

  • Arkansas basketball clinched a 99-84 win over Texas A&M on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Bud Walton Arena when guard Billy Richmond III led key scoring drives and defensive stops. The Razorbacks demonstrated strong teamwork and determination in a high-energy game.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • Springdale High School honored alumna and WNBA champion Marquesha Davis during the halftime of the Springdale vs. Bentonville basketball game on Feb. 24. Davis, the only Arkansas native to win a WNBA title with New York Liberty, received a video tribute celebrating her journey from high school to the pros.  5 News
  • The Razorbacks beat the Aggies 99-84 at Walton Arena on Wednesday as Billy Richmond III tallied 23 points while freshmen Darius Acuff Jr. and Meleek Thomas struggled early; a run of 13 consecutive field goals helped Arkansas secure the win.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
