EDUCATION NEWS

  • Former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft will speak at John Brown University on March 10 at Simmons Great Hall for the Ray and Laurine Barnett Civic Leadership Series. The free event, co-sponsored by JBU’s Center for Faith and Flourishing and TPUSA’s student chapter, will feature discussions on leadership and governance.  NWA Business Journal
  • High school coaches in the region were pleased when head coach Ryan Silverfield announced the hire of former Razorback Brey Cook as manager of alumni and high school relations on Feb. 19. SPORTS NEWS

  • Matt Jones and Bubba Carpenter recapped the Razorbacks’ 12-4 loss and 1-0 win over Arkansas State and previewed the upcoming series against UT-Arlington this weekend. The team will look to improve their record in the series.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
