  • Walmart AMP has added two major concerts for its 2025 season as Jorge Medina and Josi Cuén will perform on August 14 and Grammy-winning Leon Bridges with country singer Charley Crockett will co-headline on September 19. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for the first show and at 5:30 p.m. for the second—tickets go on sale March 21 and March 28.  Fayetteville Flyer

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • A $25 million federal grant for Highway 112 improvements is under review by the new presidential administration—final approval has not been given yet—and the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission said the project funding remains pending.  5 News

  • The University of Arkansas men's basketball team beat St. John's 75-66 on Saturday at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence — advancing to the Sweet 16. They will play Texas Tech at 9:09 p.m. on Thursday at Chase Center in San Francisco — Texas Tech beat Drake 77-64 on Saturday.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • After a 75-66 win over St. John's on March 22, the 10th-seeded Razorbacks will play third-seeded Texas Tech in the Sweet 16 on Thursday, March 27 in San Francisco at 9:09 p.m. Head coach John Calipari said the team played hard and may get a boost if injured forward Adou Thiero returns.  Fayetteville Flyer
  • Remy Cofield was named UA deputy athletics director and general manager of Razorback Athletics and will begin work on April 1—he will help head coaches secure good players—drawing on his 12 years with the Boston Celtics.  NWA Business Journal
