ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Springdale pedestrian, Jennifer Kentner, 53, was fatally struck around 8:50 p.m. Friday on U.S. 412 near Blue Springs Road in rural Washington County when an eastbound 2005 Chevrolet hit her and a second vehicle ran over her, and a crash on Sunday killed James Tillery, 68, when his 1997 Chevrolet Blazer left Marion County Road 2059 and hit a ditch as weather was clear and roads were dry. - ➤ A $25 million federal grant to improve the Arkansas 112 corridor from Fayetteville to Bentonville is on hold while the new administration reviews pending awards—officials expect the funds will be approved before work begins in late 2025.
