  • Protesters marched in downtown Springdale on Monday, March 31 for immigrant poultry worker rights. Organized by Venceremos, the rally began at Murphy Park and ended at City Hall as demonstrators called for recognition of the workers' contributions.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

  • Lucius Mhoon, owner of Pozza’s Pasta in Springdale, bought the family pasta brand 20 years ago from Felix Pozza and now makes hand-cut noodles in a kitchen near Susan’s Restaurant—rising egg costs led him to raise pasta prices at both his restaurant and retail. He said keeping the family recipe and quality high remains his top priority amid limited chances to expand distribution.  NWA Business Journal

  • Springdale students from Sonora Elementary and Lakeside Junior High School contacted astronauts on the International Space Station using amateur radio on March 31 during a project led by the University of Arkansas Amateur Radio Club and Bella Vista Amateur Radio Club—700 feet of cable set up the link and boosted students' interest in space careers.  5 News
