  • The moving company Two Men and a Truck is partnering with Havenwood House to help single moms move into safer homes—donations of food, health and beauty supplies and cleaning products are welcomed—and drop-offs can be made at its Bentonville office on Phyllis St.  KNWA

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Arkansas residents are worried about rising food prices and an unpredictable market as tariffs may drive up grocery costs — financial planner Patricia Nuovo urged saving enough funds to cover nine months of expenses and noted strong local job growth and rising home values. A NWACC student said that grocery bills are already straining budgets.  5 News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • On Friday, 65 young women from 16 high schools took part in a hands-on culinary program at Brightwater in Bentonville—partnering with female chefs to prepare a community meal—hosted by NWACC and Thaden School.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • CVS Health decried a bill—introduced in January—that aims to remove a check on pharmacy benefit managers, and the Arkansas House took about eight weeks to move on it. The company warned the change may lead to conflicts of interest.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Razorbacks released a revised SEC series schedule with Missouri after severe weather postponed Friday’s game. Today the teams will meet at 4 p.m. on SEC Network+ and they will finish the series on Sunday with a seven-inning doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.  KNWA
