CULTURE NEWS

  • Many families and friends celebrated Easter Sunday services across Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley on Sunday, Apr. 5. Cross Church - Pinnacle Hills in Rogers started its service at 8 a.m. and welcomed community members to reflect and renew.  4029 News
  • Last Thursday night, the Springdale School District hosted a festival that showed student art from more than 20 schools across downtown parks and galleries, including live music at Luther George Park. ECONOMY NEWS

  • Gas prices are rising as regular gas in Arkansas now costs $3.61 (up from $2.90 last month), and drivers in Springdale are feeling the pinch. AAA warns that if crude oil stays high, drivers may need to adjust their budgets and travel plans soon.  4029 News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Benton School District launched the LifeWise released time program last month for first grade students at Caldwell Elementary, where students leave campus to study the Bible at a local church during the school day.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
