- ➤ Allegiance Title of Arkansas started in 2021 when Patrick Curry and Brian Blackman opened a title insurance company (licensed in Arkansas and Missouri) to handle home and business closings and complete complex deals like a timberland acquisition and a solar farm transaction with a 100-year title search. The company has grown quickly with two local offices and 20 employees, including bilingual staff, and is a finalist for a local business award announced today. NWA Business Journal
- ➤ Emery Sapp & Sons is a fully employee-owned heavy civil construction contractor that started in 1972 with one worker and now has over 1,600 employees, including 200 at its Springdale office that opened in 2021. The company works on major regional infrastructure projects and is a finalist for the Northwest Arkansas Outstanding Business Awards in the Large Business category, with winners announced today. - ➤ Mount Sequoyah will host its Music on the Mountain concert series from April 25 through Oct. 17 to feature Arkansas-based music in outdoor settings—starting with a Family Day concert by Shannon Wurst and including a special Jazz on the Mountain event on May 15 along with shows by Auralai, Sally Jo, the Alisha Pattillo Electric Band and Ashtyn Barbaree. - ➤ The Walmart AMP has added Blink-182 and Little Big Town to its 2025 concert series. Blink-182 will perform their Missionary Impossible tour on Sept. 24 with special guest Alkaline Trio—gates open at 5:30 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m.—while Little Big Town will kick off their Summer Tour ’25 on July 24 with support from Carly Pearce and Carter Faith. - ➤ Springdale Public Schools hosted their annual Hearts for Homelessness fundraiser on Tuesday night — raising funds to support 745 students in the Families in Transition program who face housing instability. Reina Hart said the money will help cover costs like hotel stays and utility bills that federal grants do not allow. 5 News

- ➤ The Arkansas House of Representatives voted Tuesday, Feb. 18th to send Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders a bill that would create an income tax credit for a qualified manufacturer of sustainable aviation fuel—effective for tax years beginning on or after Jan. 1st. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ The Skyline Report showed that commercial vacancy in Northwest Arkansas dropped from 6.5% to 5.8% in the second half of 2024 while more than 2,181,915 square feet of new space had opened since 2022—vacancy rates in offices, retail, and warehouses also improved.
