- ➤ On Tuesday, April 22, Rep Steve Womack hosted HUD Secretary Scott Turner with Gov Sarah Sanders for a district tour that focused on affordable housing, homelessness, and workforce training while visiting Bentonville High School, a new 160-unit project, and local Opportunity Zone sites—showing the community's growing need for affordable homes. They also toured Hillcrest Towers, a 120-unit complex for seniors and disabled residents—highlighting ongoing efforts to tackle the housing challenge amid tight budgets. NWA Business Journal
- ➤ HUD Secretary Scott Turner visited the third district with Congressman Steve Womack and Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and toured affordable housing projects in Bentonville, Springdale, and Fayetteville to check local redevelopment plans.
