  • Legacy Bank is set to rebrand from Legacy National Bank in Springdale — becoming a state‑chartered Federal Reserve member bank effective June 30, pending regulatory approvals. The change will not affect customers as deposits remain FDIC insured.  NWA Business Journal

  • Farmers in our region are facing rising fertilizer+fuel costs amid a severe drought and global supply disruptions as spring planting begins.   • Walmart Inc. said in a memo on Tuesday that it is cutting about 1,000 tech jobs — a move aimed at streamlining operations and impacting regional teams.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

SPORTS NEWS

  • The 14th-ranked Razorbacks start a three-game series at Kentucky today that could secure them a top-four seed for the SEC Tournament in Hoover. Their play this weekend will determine when they might first compete in the tournament, coach Dave Van Horn said.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • The Razorbacks softball team is hosting a regional tournament at Bogle Park tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. under coach Courtney Deifel, extending its six-season streak.
