- ➤ A Rogers man was sentenced to 73 years in prison after admitting to selling fentanyl that led to the death of 19-year-old Charles Gephart in Bentonville—Enrique DeJesus Valdez, 24, pleaded guilty Friday and will be eligible for parole after serving at least 26 years. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ A 4.99-megawatt solar park will be built later this month on 32 acres near Lowell to supply 15%-20% of the power for a Beaver Water District water treatment plant that serves roughly 400,000 people (including Springdale, Fayetteville, Rogers, and Bentonville), with construction expected to finish in late this year.
