- ➤ Randy Zook, Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce CEO, said state income tax cuts and a new report have spurred job growth in Northwest Arkansas. He noted that a November ballot measure will allow local development districts (Issue 3) to use project tax gains for funding improvements. NWA Business Journal

- ➤ Jones Elementary in Springdale marked its final day on Thursday with an emotional assembly as it closed after 67 years of service. - ➤ UAMS hosted a topping-out ceremony for its 85,000 sqft Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Hospital at 5293 Watkins Ave in Springdale as it marked a key milestone in its $109.5 million construction project. - ➤ Arkansas track stars Sanu Jallow-Lockhart and Jelani Watkins are on the latest Bowerman watch lists after strong SEC performances.
