  • Catalyst Capital said rising construction and material costs have delayed AQ Chicken House’s reopening in Springdale and that investors are now looking for a new location. The group continues testing recipes and refining plans to preserve the restaurant’s legacy with a refreshed concept that includes outdoor seating—its reopening will occur when a new site is secured.  Fayetteville Flyer

SPORTS NEWS

  • Arkansas head basketball coach John Calipari said his team is building a strong 2025-26 season by returning core players like Trevon Brazile and guard D.J. Wagner and adding top recruits including Springdale native Isaiah Sealy — a sign of growing confidence.   • Arkansas Razorbacks are rebuilding their defensive front for the upcoming football season after losing three of four starters and now rely on returning senior Cam Ball—recovering from an elbow injury—and promising transfers and freshmen to fill key roles.   • Trevon Brazile, an Arkansas men's basketball forward, has added 10 pounds and taken on a stronger leadership role as he prepares for his senior season under coach John Calipari after breakout performances helped the team reach the NCAA Tournament last season.
