ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • An 18-wheeler crash with reported injuries slowed traffic on Interstate 49 near the Bobby Hopper Tunnel on Jul 15 at 5:42 a.m.—all lanes were affected—and the Arkansas Department of Transportation said traffic was moving along the right shoulder at mile marker 41.  KNWA

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Medium at 214 S. Main St. in Springdale said 37 creatives, performers and cultural organizers will get nearly $150,000 from the 2025/2026 Creative Exchange Fund and will use its theater, exhibition hall, studios and outdoor grounds. The program is in its third year—many winners are first-timers—and a calendar of events will be released in August.  NWA Business Journal
