GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The final leg of the Springdale Northern Bypass will move forward with $24.46 million from a federal BUILD grant — announced by U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy on July 15. The funded 6.63-mile segment will connect Highway 265 to Highway 412 east of Springdale and is part of a planned 21-mile bypass built in four phases.  KNWA

  • At the Springdale Aquatic Center on Sunday, lifeguard Carlee Ann Gladden said pool visitors must bring an insulated water bottle—electrolytes, food and sunscreen and take frequent breaks in the shade to stay safe during the extreme heat.  4029 News
