- ➤ West Fork police are searching for a suspect in connection with the double homicide at Devil's Den State Park that occurred on Saturday after a couple was attacked on a hiking trail, and the suspect is described as a white man with a medium build in dark clothing seen leaving in a black four-door sedan + residents are urged to review any video footage for tips. 5 News
- ➤ In Northwest Arkansas, authorities arrested 11 individuals on charges such as burglary, assault, drug, and firearm offenses as several remain detained at the Washington County Detention Center while others were released on bond. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ A federal court jury in Fayetteville found that local attorney Jason Hatfield suffered harm from a scheme that recruited grieving families at a Springdale funeral home and awarded him over $14 million in damages—Tony Pirani was held liable for his role after admitting to using artificial intelligence in drafting legal motions—. - ➤ Former Tyson Foods president and CEO Noel White and his wife Patty announced a $1 million estate gift to Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW) that will name the Springdale inpatient pediatric unit after their family.
