- ➤ Tontitown police arrested 32-year-old Chad Douthit on Aug 24 after he led an officer in a pursuit that exceeded 100 mph and ended in a crash on Highway 412—he faces charges of fleeing, reckless driving, driving on a suspended license, failure to obey a traffic device and theft by receiving. - ➤ Families in Northwest Arkansas filed a motion on Aug.22 in a lawsuit over Act 573, a law that requires the Ten Commandments in classrooms, to add Conway School District as a defendant and include two more families as plaintiffs — they claim the law violates constitutional rights. If the court approves the change, Conway will have to take down the displays. 5 News
