  • Springdale-based Tyson Foods has been sued in Delaware Chancery Court by shareholder Michael Castagna, who holds 283 shares and is seeking access to corporate records on the treatment of animals and workers. Castagna claims the records will show that the company failed to provide enough water for chickens and proper safety gear for employees, and he asks the court to order immediate production of these documents.  NWA Business Journal

  • Three of the five people arrested last summer in Springdale on drug charges pleaded guilty on Friday in federal court in Fayetteville — they accepted plea bargains that resolve the federal case.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

  • Visitors can tour the Bachman-Wilson House—a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home now on the Crystal Bridges Museum campus in Bentonville—that was moved piece by piece from New Jersey after flooding damaged its structure. The house has a minimalist design with built-in furnishings and is open to the public during regular museum hours.  5 News

HEALTH NEWS

  • The FDA has recalled 26,460 packages of AquaStar cocktail shrimp sold at Walmart from July 31 to August 16 due to possible cesium-137 contamination — no illnesses have been reported and customers are advised to return the product for a full refund or discard it.  KNWA

  • The Arkansas Razorbacks are starting their season today at 3:15 p.m. at Razorback Stadium against Alabama A&M—using the game as a warm-up before a key matchup against Arkansas State on Sept. 6 at War Memorial Stadium that will test team depth and affirm state dominance.  Fayetteville Flyer
