- ➤ Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced a multi-billion-dollar investment from Taiwan in Arkansas agriculture on Sep 19 — two letters of intent signed by leading agricultural groups commit to buying corn and soybeans with further negotiations planned. - ➤ Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has negotiated a lower health insurance rate increase from 54.2% to 35.8% for six companies covering 308,662 Arkansans—new rates effective January 1st, 2026 will save money for both beneficiaries and taxpayers. KNWA
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Arkansas health insurers offering plans on healthcare.gov are asking for a 22.1% premium hike next year, which Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders said is about one-third lower than earlier proposals for over 308000 Arkansans—changes that still need approval from the Arkansas Insurance Department before taking effect on Jan. 1.
