- ➤ Tyson Foods in Springdale reported a fourth-quarter profit of $47 million and earnings of 13 cents per share on Monday—beating analyst expectations. The company earned 1.15 per share after adjustments, posted $13.86 billion in revenue for the quarter, and made a full-year profit of $474 million with $54.44 billion in revenue. KNWA

- ➤ Fishing guide Jon Conklin said that as the water cools at Beaver Lake, crappie are gathering near brush—while striped bass continue moving south. - ➤ Former Razorback stars Madre Hill and Anthony Lucas spoke at the Little Rock Touchdown Club meeting at the DoubleTree Hotel to voice their concerns over a seven-game losing streak and a loss of local pride in the program—both urged a return to homegrown talent and stronger bonds between coaches and players. Hill endorsed interim coach Bobby Petrino for a permanent role while Lucas, now head coach at Pulaski Academy, stressed that the team must rediscover its love for the game.
