- ➤ Fayetteville-based Caisson Capital Partners bought a 192-unit apartment complex east of I-49 in Springdale for $27.25 million, which comes to about $141,927 per unit and will be renamed 412 Crossing. The firm will invest nearly $4 million—updating roofs, porches, and adding washers and dryers—to offer affordable, family-friendly housing in the area. NWA Business Journal
- ➤ Springdale officials on Monday backed Act 9 industrial bonds—enabling Tyson Foods to raise up to $127 million to buy and renovate the shuttered Cargill plant at 730 E. Randall Wobbe Lane. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese is hosting its first Atolls Christmas in the Ozarks at the Fayetteville Public Library on Dec. 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.—the gala will include festive music, cultural performances, and holiday dining while proceeds support programs that help Marshallese families with driver’s license classes, health access, and youth education. - ➤ Crystal Bridges and the Momentary announced 2026 exhibitions that will celebrate the American Spirit by highlighting American identity and everyday storytelling. Crystal Bridges will host three shows—beginning with 'America 250: Common Threads' on March 14th while the Momentary will feature two exhibits in summer 2026. KNWA

- ➤ The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas will host its annual Jingle Mingle on Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. at 1579 E. Lake Rd—this event will feature live jazz music from the Cocktail Club, networking, and a story from current scholarship recipient Melanie Law, who will soon graduate with her master’s degree in nursing. - ➤ On November 7, a trio of paddlers including Kathy McAlister and Alan Bland floated the White River below Beaver Dam under new trout regulations—fall colors and ample water set the stage for scenic trout fishing.
