- ➤ The 8th annual NWA Young Professionals Summit is scheduled for November 20 at Hotel Avail in Rogers from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Northwest Arkansas Emerging Leaders from the Rogers Lowell Chamber will host four sessions on topics such as career building, artificial intelligence in the workplace, communication skills, and leadership training; tickets cost $35 per person + registration is required. - ➤ The Arvest Foundation donated $94,775 to food pantries across Northwest Arkansas on Nov 18—supporting groups such as the Salvation Army and UA Jane Gearhart Food Pantry—and helping them buy food for those in need. KNWA

- ➤ Insight Leadership Group is now accepting applications for the 2026 Insight Executive Leadership Academy—set to hold cohorts in Northwest Arkansas and Little Rock—and offering an intensive four-session program with group training, virtual roundtables and one-on-one coaching at a cost of $5,000 per participant. - ➤ The Springdale City Council Committee of the Whole discussed Tyson’s request on Monday to occupy the old Cargill building at 730 E. Randall Wobbe Ln. and favored the idea without a vote. Tyson plans to acquire Act 9 bonds and join payments in lieu of taxes to earn a 50% property tax abatement over 10 years if the building is used. KNWA

- ➤ Arkansas coach John Calipari tossed his towel during a Tuesday game when Winthrop’s easy dunk exposed the team's weak defense and lack of communication. Calipari said the team’s poor physical effort—needed to stop fast plays—led to an 84–83 win at Walton Arena. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Interim UA football coordinators Kolby Smith and Chris Wilson filled in on Tuesday's player interview and stressed the players' strong commitment amid an eight-game losing streak as they prepare for Saturday’s 2:30 p.m. rivalry game at Texas. Interim Coach Bobby Petrino will earn an extra $350,000 over the next two months and noted that running back Braylen Russell, who entered concussion protocols last week, is expected to return soon — a boost for the team. - ➤ Arkansas basketball defeated Winthrop 84—83 at Bud Walton Arena after the game ended in drama when Daylen Berry missed a three point shot at the buzzer and multiple ejections occurred.
