- ➤ Springdale’s Christmas Parade of the Ozarks is rescheduled to Monday, Dec. 1 due to a forecast predicting 90% rain and a horse herpes virus that has banned horses from participating. The parade will start at 6 p.m. at Parsons Stadium — it will follow Harris Street and turn north to finish along Johnson Street. 4029 News

- ➤ At a national event in Kansas City last month, business and community leaders praised Arkansas for making child care affordable to boost its workforce—now, Excel by Eight and local chambers will use new tax credits and assistance in 2026 to further support local employers and reduce turnover costs.
